Mallett and I fitted the Align 3G FBL system to our 250's yesterday. They arrived yesterday morning so it was a bit of a rush to get them fitted and flying for the club meeting last night. Anyway, we finally got them finished in time for a test fly last night.

Well. What can I say. My 250 flew superbly before fitting the 3G but now it's absolutely awesome!!! It's extremely stable but very agile and "sharp". Can't wait to try it outside. I need to tidy up the wiring a little and fit a new Scorpion motor, but I'm really impressed especially as there are a few people on the forums who aren't happy with the 3G on a 250. I think if the mechanical setup is done properly then the 3G is superb.

Interesting.  I've been thinking of going FBL on my 250 for a while but put off by the negative threads on forums.    As you say, if mechanical setup is good and low vibrations it should work just fine.

Fit the scorpion motor and it'll be ridiculous!  Grin

p.s.  Are your SE flybarred heads for sale?
